There is so much I love about the Actor's WorkHouse. Firstly, Duane. Period. Duane brings a professional Los Angeles training and experience background. He's done everything from Shakespeare to Broadway musicals, to television. His IMDb page boasts a long list of wide and varied credits. Secondly, Duane really cares about the success of his students and takes a well rounded approach to teaching that addresses all learning modalities. Thirdly, I love the space. It's comfortable, cozy, homey, and safe (with plenty of parking!). I also appreciate the guest presenters Duane brings in such as Keith Reay from Second City Hollywood. My favorite classes, by far, are the biweekly on camera classes. I'm a very visual learner and when I can actually "see" my performance, I "see" Duane's directing and coaching and how it applies specifically to my work.
